Photos, videos and device information
With your permission, the app uses accessible previews, original files when needed, media identifiers, names, dates, sizes, dimensions, video duration, favorites, albums and available photo-location GPS/EXIF metadata. It also reads device storage and photo-access status. Photo-location metadata helps preserve a unique original; the app does not track live or background location.
Permissions and deletion choices
You can limit or revoke photo/video access in system settings. Limited access produces partial results. Deletion flows require full access so results can be verified. On Android, photo-location permission may be requested separately. You review and select items; adding them to the queue does not delete them. Operating-system confirmation and eligibility checks still apply.
Local records and temporary files
Review decisions, removal queues, operation history, duplicate evidence, daily allowance and purchase-entitlement state are stored locally. Duplicate evidence can include media identifiers, hashes, dates, sizes, albums and photo-location metadata. Deleting media does not erase all history. There is no automatic time-based deletion schedule for these records; they can remain until app data is cleared or the app is fully removed. Temporary previews, comparison copies and share cards are cleaned up when possible; interrupted operations or system caches can retain them longer.
System photo services and Tortu
On iOS, system photo services may download previews from iCloud. Enabling cloud originals in Exact Duplicates can also download original files; this is not a switch that disables every network request. Downloads can use data, battery and time. Tortu is a small-preview keepsake, not a backup of originals. It is saved to the photo library and may sync under your photo-backup settings.
Store purchases and restore
Apple or Google processes payment. The app reads store product prices, purchase status, verification information and entitlement state to unlock or restore Premium; it does not receive your full payment-card details. Restore uses the same store account that purchased Premium. App Store and Google Play purchases do not transfer between stores. Purchase or restore does not start a deletion.
Android Billing diagnostics
On Android, Google Play Billing manages purchase and restore interactions with Google Play. Its diagnostic flow can send billing operation results, error details, app package and version, Billing library version, Android SDK level and a randomly generated client-session identifier to Google. DataTransport can add technical device/build, language, time-zone, network-type and SIM-operator information. Diagnostic events may be queued on your device before transmission. The app does not pass your photo or video library into this billing flow. These store diagnostics are separate from local media processing and do not mean that your library is uploaded to a company server. Google processes its store and diagnostic records under its own privacy policy, retention rules and privacy controls; our 90-day support-correspondence policy does not apply to those records.
Local protection and backup limits
Local catalog files use operating-system app storage and file protections, including iOS Data Protection and Android app-specific file permissions. This is not a separate password vault or a developer-managed encrypted database. Catalog and related legacy preferences are configured to be excluded from system backup/device transfer. Photos, Tortu images and shared copies are outside this exclusion. Do not rely on review history transferring to a new device.
Removing local data
Use Android's clear-app-data option or fully remove the app together with its data. Offloading on iOS may retain data. Revoking photo access does not erase local history. Uninstalling InfiniteVault does not delete your photo library, Tortu images saved there or copies shared with other services; manage those in the relevant service.
Support messages and privacy requests
If you email hi@mirrorid.ai, we receive your email address, message and the information or attachments you choose to include, to answer your support or privacy request. We use SistemHost’s hosted email service to receive, store and send these messages; the provider performs the technical delivery and storage needed for this service. Access to the mailbox is restricted by account authentication. We use this correspondence for support and related privacy requests, not advertising. We delete support correspondence 90 days after the request is closed, using our manual retention process. You may ask for earlier deletion at the same address. Do not send passwords, full payment details or unnecessary personal photos.
